Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of guest lecturing many times: fifth graders, college students, public events, and professional luncheons. My favorite and longest stint was as a public high school teacher from 2016 to 2019. I had the privilege of teaching architecture to students who went on to careers in engineering, fine arts, interior design, product design, and architecture to name a few. |
I educated and mentored approximately 750 students. At the beginning of every semester I welcomed the students as new members of the discipline: |
Each semesters concluded with an exhibition inviting family, friends, and professionals for smooth jazz, culinary class hors d'oeuvres, and final projects.

Architecture II & III Honors
Sophomore to senior high school students were challenged to create a custom design with sketches, Revit sheets, and butter-board models. Architecture II were provided a client spec sheet [below] to design a custom home to meet their clients' unique needs. Architecture III became their own clients by designing their mixed-use residence for living and working. |
|
Architecture I Architecture I (Drafting I) is the prerequisite class for the proceeding honors courses. Students transformed the studio into their first house called the My First House Project. We imagined the studio extracted itself from the school, and relocated itself to a site next to the campus. The sample project [below] was used as a guide from start to finish. |
